Borna: Word music concert with harmonium

Stadtkirche St. Marien, Martin-Luther-Platz 3, 04552 Borna

A good 100 years ago, Borna was a metropolis of harmonium construction. The Lindholm company stands as an example of high-quality, award-winning instruments that were sold all over the world in large numbers. You can get an idea of the history and instruments at the Borna Museum today. Lars David Kellner, specialist and renowned virtuoso of the suction wind harmonium, will be playing a Lindholm art harmonium on November 8, 2025 at 6 pm in St. Mary's Church and taking his audience on a fascinating journey through time to almost forgotten worlds of sound. The reciter Susanne Sperrhake will lend her voice to the featured composers with excerpts from their diaries and letters.
